This article is about my experience using Olilia brand roller bottles.
At the time of writing this article, Christmas has just passed and I can now share with you some Christmas gifts that I created and gave to loved ones. 🙂
I decided that I wanted to create special blends of essential oils for some of my family members. I spent time reading about and creating essential oil recipe blends. Each blend was created to target a specific condition such as: headache, anxiety, joint pain, muscle pain, energy, sleep and so on.
I wanted to give these blends to my loved ones in small, attractive, refillable, glass roller ball bottles. I figured my family would like the convenience and portability of this style of container.
In the past I have used small glass bottles to store my premixed blends. I found them less than ideal when it came to applying the oils to my skin. So, I decided I was going to treat myself to a few new roller bottles too. 🙂
After spending some time looking at the available options, I chose to purchase a set of Olilia Essential Oils Roller Bottles.
Why did I Choose Olilia?
I decided to purchase Olilia Bottles for the following reasons:
- Reasonable price
- Good reviews
- Bottles are conveniently sized at 10 ml (great for throwing in a purse or pocket)
- Includes an essential oil key tool to easily remove roller balls and caps
- Roller ball is made of metal, allowing for smooth rolling and even oil application
- Bottles come in a variety of colors
Ordered and Received
The order arrived quickly. I was impressed with the packaging. All the bottles were safely shipped, with all pieces in good condition and accounted for.
As you can see in the picture the bottles were snugly fitted into Styrofoam to allow for safe shipping. I was pleased with my purchase and was really excited to start the mixing and blending process.
When the time came to start blending and mixing I was very happy with how this product performed. Bottles stood level and secure for easy filling. The roller ball was easy to attach to the bottle and lids fit securely. Not to mention that they look very stylish!
Once I was finished blending the oils, I wanted to make sure these bottles wouldn’t leak. I positioned them upside down for 30 minutes to test them out. I am happy to say that every roller ball bottle passed the test. There was no leakage. Yay!
I added some handwritten labels. Note to self – buy fancy labels! Funny thing, I didn’t plan the labels well at all. All I could find in my house were some old cassette tape stickers…..remember those? I am probably dating myself…..LOL
The very old cassette tape stickers appeared to do the trick! They adhered to the glass bottles quite well. I listed the ingredients and the name of the blend then added a little bit of ribbon to make them look even prettier!

I was satisfied that these newly purchased bottles would not leak and could be safely wrapped up for Christmas.
I had a great time preparing these gifts for my family.

I would like to remind you that essential oils are very POTENT and should be used with common sense and caution. Always read the labels. If you are currently taking any prescribed medication it is recommended that you speak to your doctor before using essential oils.
If you are concerned about allergies, you may want to perform a patch test on your skin.
It is also good to be aware that some essential oils are photo toxic. Avoid the sun as necessary when using these oils.
Please know that some oils are not recommended if you are pregnant or nursing.
Essential oils are considered “complementary and alternative medicines” and are not always a substitute for professional medical intervention and advice. If you are experiencing severe physical or mental illness it is best to contact a medical professional.
