I was so happy to find this new essential oil carrying case. This product has only been available from Amazon for three days (at this point in time). I thought this would be a valuable item for people on the go. Don’t leave your favourite essential oils at home for fear they will not travel well. Take them with you!
I really like that this carrying case has a double exterior shell and a soft insert. It’s perfect for securely storing and carrying various sized essential oil bottles and roller bottles. Great for home use too!
Now that you have decided to take your oils with you, your next decision will be to decide what oils are the best to take along. If you are like me, you have far too many lovely aromas to take with you. You will need to pick the ones that will be of most benefit to you while you are away from home. Vacations and trips are great and essential oils can make them even better. Here is a small list of oils you might consider taking with you . 🙂
Lavender has a wide range of uses, you should definitely take this one with you! It’s a must-have! It’s calming and helps relieve stress, headaches and inflammation; it can help to heal burns (including sunburn), wounds and skin irritations. Lavender improves sleep and helps calm over-excited kids (adults too!). It can be difficult for some people to fall asleep easily in an unfamiliar bed. Spritz or put a few drops on your blanket or pillow at night.
Frankincense is another incredible oil. It helps to relieve dry skin that is often associated with sunburn or windburn. It also helps alleviate stress, headaches and fatigue. Are you planning to have a few drinks while on vacation? Frankincense helps soothe the symptoms of a hangover! Good to know, right? 🙂

Another great oil to take along! Tea Tree oil acts as a powerful antiseptic and anti-microbial. Some people use Tea Tree oil to make their own insect repellent. Dilute with water in a spray bottle and use Tea Tree as a hand sanitizer! It also helps soothe insect bites, sunburns, sores, scratches and cuts.
Peppermint is an excellent “pick-me-up” as it improves mental focus and clarity. Dilute with a carrier oil and apply topically or inhale off a hot moist towel. If you catch a cold or feel congested, add a few drops of Tea Tree and Peppermint oil in a bowl with hot water, place a towel over your head and inhale the aroma. Peppermint oil is known to sooth an upset stomach and relieve headaches.
Going to a hot climate on vacation? Some people make DIY body sprays with Peppermint essential oil to help keep skin cool!
All citrus oils make great room deodorizers! Orange, Grapefruit, Lemongrass or Lemon work well to freshen up any room…even the washroom! Simply add a few drops to a spray bottle with water and spritz away any unwanted aromas.
So, the next time you are planning a trip, take those essential oils with you. Carry them with you in the Shockproof Essential Oil Carrying Case. Don’t forget to take a carrier oil to dilute your essential oils before applying topically. Or you might like to fill some roller bottles ahead of time with carrier oil, add your essential oils as needed to save time and space in your luggage. My favourite carrier is Jojoba! But there are many to choose from It’s also great to have a little spray bottle or two on hand to use for spritzing your oils.
